Program of tour
1 day. Arrival to Iceland (~ 60 km)
Arrival at the airport. Meeting with a guide at the airport, who will deliver a route map, a telephone SIM card, help with car rental, if desired, accompany you to the hotel and help accommodating. Overnight in Reykjavik.










2 day. Golden Circle - South Coast (~275 km)
Main attractions: Thingvellir (Þingvellir) - the valley of geysers (Geysir area) - Golden waterfall (Gullfoss) - Kvolsvöllur (Hvolsvöllur) - Seljalandsfoss (Seljalandsfoss) - Skogar (Skogar) - Skógafoss waterfall (Skógafoss) - Reynisdrangar ( Reynisdrandar) - Cape Dyrhólaey - Vik.

You will start your Icelandic journey with the Golden Circle route, which includes the geologically and historically significant Thingvellir National Park, the impressive Gullfoss waterfall and the famous Geysir hot springs area. Then make your way along the south coast, seeing the Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, the black sand beaches around Vik and the Myrdalsjokull glacier. Overnight in Vik.

Important: Please note that Dyrholaey is closed during nesting, from about mid-May until the end of June.

3 day. Skaftafell-Jokulsaarloun (~270 km)
Main attractions: Skaftafell National Park - Svartifoss Waterfall - Svinafelljökull - Jökulsárlón.

Skaftafell National Park is one of the most beautiful places in Iceland, with a mesmerizing contrast of white glaciers, black sands and green meadows. In the park, you can hike to the original Svartifoss waterfall (one way walk takes about an hour), falling from a cliff formed from volcanic black basalt columns. And in the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon you will admire icebergs of different sizes, this is the location for filming many Hollywood blockbusters. Stop for the night in the charming port city of Höfn, also known as the Lobster Capital of Northern Europe.

4 day. Eastern Fjords (~250 km)
Main attractions: Stöðvarfjörður - Djupivogur.

Today you will get acquainted with the eastern part of Iceland. This vast area with picturesque valleys and forests stretches from glaciers to the ocean. Here you will see deep fjords surrounded by high mountains, deserted sandy beaches, geothermal springs and many beautiful waterfalls. Overnight in Egilstadir.

Extra charge: Visit to the Petra Mineral Museum in Stödvarfjordur.





5 day. Jokulsarglufur National Park (~ 230 km)
Main attractions: Dettifoss waterfall - Ásbyrgi canyon - Húsavik.

​From Egilstadir, head across the Modrudalsoraefi highlands, known for their vibrant, unspoiled beauty, to Europe's most powerful waterfall, Dettifoss. Visit the magnificent Ausbirgi horseshoe canyon. Then move on along the Tjornes peninsula and the friendly fishing port of Husavik. Overnight in Husavik.

6 day. Myvatn (~160 km)
Main attractions: Lake Mývatn - Skutustaðir - Dimmuborgir - Hverfjall - Hverarönd - Grjótagjá - Goðafoss - Akureyri.

Myvatn impresses with its extraordinary beauty and variety of landscapes - the mystical volcanic formations at Dimmuborgir, the pseudocraters at Skutustadir, the colorful sulfurous slopes of Namaskard and the volcanic region of Krafla. On the way to Akureyri, stop at the Godafoss waterfall. According to legend, statues of pagan gods were thrown into this waterfall after the baptism of Iceland. Overnight in Akureyri.





Day 7. Skagafjordur (~355 km)
Main attractions: Varmahlið - Blönduos - Buðardalur - Stykkishólmur.

On the way to Olafsvik, you will pass through the historical region of Skagafjordur, where herds of the famous Icelandic horses graze on lava expanses. There is also an open-air ethnographic museum Glaumbær, which is an old farm with peat houses. Here, the traditional culture and rural life of the Icelanders is brilliantly presented, and it immediately becomes clear how the Icelanders could survive the past 1200 Arctic winters. Then start driving along the Snaefellsnes peninsula through the main town of Stykkisholmur and the fishing village of Grundarfjordur. Overnight in Olafsvik.

Day 8. Snaefellsnes (~300 km)
Main attractions: Djúpalónssandur - Arnarstapi - Eldborg - Borgarnes - Blue Lagoon.

​Today you will continue your acquaintance with the Snaefellsnes peninsula, which is called Iceland in miniature. Drive around the legendary peninsula, home to the magical Snaefellsjökull volcanic glacier. Stop at the rocky Djúpalónssandur beach, don't miss the striking basalt rock formations at Arnarstapi, see the seal rookery at Ytri-Tunga. Continue through the whale fjord Hvalfjordur to Reykjanes, where you will swim in the healing waters of the world-famous Blue Lagoon geothermal resort. Overnight on the Reykjanes peninsula.

A pair of comfortable warm and waterproof boots or sneakers (better for trekking).

Camera
Do not forget photo and video equipment with sufficient memory. Iceland is a photographer's paradise.
For the lagoon
Swimsuit / swimming trunks. You will be given a towel in the reception of the Blue Lagoon.
