Program of tour
1 day. Arrival to Iceland (~ 60 km)
Arrival at the airport. Meeting with a guide at the airport, who will issue a route map, a telephone SIM card, help with car rental, if desired, accompany you to the hotel and help accommodating.
You will start your trip to Iceland from the Reykjanes peninsula, a geothermal area with vast fields of solidified lava, in some places covered with vegetation. Overnight in Reykjavik.

For an additional fee: a visit to the Blue Lagoon (Blue Lagoon) - a unique natural pool in the open air, where you can relax and unwind in the healing water rich in mineral salts, algae and silicon.





2 day. West Iceland (~450 km)
Main attractions: Borgarnes - Hraunfossar lava waterfalls - Barnafoss children's waterfall - Deildartunguhver - Reykholt.

From Reykjavik you will head to West Iceland via the whale fjord Hvalfjordur. In Borgarfjordur, visit the beautiful Hrainfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls, as well as the huge Deildartungukver, the most powerful hot spring in Europe. Follow in the footsteps of the medieval leader and saga author Snorri Sturluson at his home in Reyholt. On the way to the charming "capital" of Northern Iceland - Akureyri, you will pass through the historical region of Skagafjordur, famous for its horse breeding. Overnight in Akureyri.

3 day. Lake Myvatn - Husavik (~180 km)
Main attractions: Goðafoss waterfall - colorful Lake Mývatn - Skutustaðir with mysterious pseudo-craters - bizarre lava formations Dimmuborgir - volcanic crater Hverfjall - valley of bubbling sulfur springs Hverarönd - geothermal field Grjótagjá - Husavik.

​Before exploring the sights of Lake Myvatn, stop at the Godafoss waterfall. According to legend, statues of pagan gods were thrown into this waterfall after the baptism of Iceland. Myvatn impresses with its extraordinary beauty and variety of landscapes - the mystical volcanic formations at Dimmuborgir, the pseudocraters at Skutustadir, the colorful sulfurous slopes of Namaskard and the volcanic region of Krafla. Further transfer to the whale capital Husavik. Overnight in Husavik.



4 day. Tjörnes Peninsula - Eastern Fjords (~350 km)
Main attractions: Ásbyrgi horseshoe-shaped gorge - the most powerful waterfall in Europe Dettifoss (Dettifoss) - Egilsstaðir - Djúpivogur.

​From Husavik, travel around the Tjornes peninsula. Visit the magnificent Ausbirgi horseshoe canyon and then Dettifoss, the highest waterfall in Europe. Drive along the rugged coastline of the Eastfjords with their towering mountains and charming fishing villages. Along the way, you can visit Petra's famous collection of local stones and minerals at Stödvarfjordur. Overnight in Dupivogur.

5 day. Jokulsaarloun - Skaftafell (~220 km)
Main attractions: Höfn - Jökulsárlon glacial lagoon - Skaftafell National Park - Svartifoss waterfall - Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

​First stop is the charming port city of Höfn, also known as the Lobster Capital of Northern Europe. Explore the glacial lagoon of Jokulsaarloun, the filming location for many Hollywood blockbusters. Continue through the black sandy plains created by glacial activity towards the Skaftafell National Park. It is a green oasis located under the large Vatnajökull glacier. Skaftafell is part of the largest national park in Western Europe, Vatnajokull. Night in Kirkjubayerklusture.

​Extra charge: amphibious cruise on the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon.



6 day. South coast (~220 km)
Main attractions: Cape Dyrhólaey - Reynisdrandar rocks - Sólheimajokull glacier - Skógafoss waterfall - Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Overnight at Selfoss.

Drive along the south shore to see the Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, the black volcanic sand beaches around Vik and the Sólheimajokull glacier.

Important: Please note that Dyrholaey is closed during nesting, from about mid-May until the end of June.

Extra charge: an open-air ethnographic museum in the village of Skógar; Lava center.



Day 7. Golden Circle (~150 km)
Main attractions: Kerid Volcano Caldera (Kerið) - Golden Falls (Gullfoss) - Valley of Geysers (Geysir area) - Thingvellir National Park. Overnight in Reykjavik.

​Today's attractions include the geologically and historically significant Thingvellir National Park, the impressive Gullfoss waterfall and the famous Geysir hot springs area.








8 day. Departure.

A pair of comfortable warm and waterproof boots or sneakers (better for trekking).

Camera
Do not forget photo and video equipment with sufficient memory. Iceland is a photographer's paradise.
For the lagoon
Swimsuit / swimming trunks. You will be given a towel in the reception of the Blue Lagoon.
