Program of tour
1 day. Arrival in Keflavik (60 km)
You will start your journey in Iceland with an introduction to the Peninsula of Reykjanes, which is considered the youngest (in geological terms) area of the island. You will find yourself surrounded by fantastic lava landscapes, densely surrounding the Blue lagoon-a unique natural thermal pool with mineral sea water in the open air, where you can relax and unwind in the healing water, rich in mineral salts, green-blue algae and silicon. Then moving to Reykjavik. Accommodation in Reykjavik hotel.








2 day. Snaefellsnes peninsula (~440 km)
Today You will see the mystical volcano-glacier Snaefellsjokull (Snæfelljökull), which is considered one of the seven energy centers of the Earth. On the Peninsula you will admire the coastal cliffs and bizarre volcanic formations, visit the village of Arnarstapi with its famous bird bazaars and the amazing shore of Djúpalónssandur at the foot of the volcano. Dinner. Return to Reykjavik.








3 day. South coast (~200 km)
Check out. Today we will get acquainted with the picturesque southern coast of the island. On the way stop at the waterfalls Seljalandsfoss (Seljalandsfoss) and Skogarfoss (Skógafoss), you will see the glaciers Eyjafjallajökull (Eyjafjallajökull) and Myrdalsjokull (Mýrdalsjökull). Here we will take a short walk along the black beach and admire the famous lava sculpture "Troll Fingers". This is fantastic: black sand, blue sea and towering over him basalt columns Reynisdrangar. These columns, carved by the harsh sea, according to legend were once trolls, petrified from the sun. You will visit the ethnographic open-air Museum in the village of Skógar-unique wooden houses with green grass roofs. The exposition of the local Museum presents many interesting items of Icelandic life. Accommodation, hotel in Vík. Dinner.


4 day. Skaftafell national Park - Glacial lagoon (~380 km)
Today we will visit the national Park Skaftafell-one of the most beautiful places in Iceland, where you will see the fascinating contrasts of white glaciers, black sands and green meadows. In the Park we will take a walk to the Original svartifoss waterfall, falling from a rock formed from volcanic black basalt columns; stop at the glacier Svínafellsjökull, which descends into the valley at the foot of the highest peak of Iceland Hvannadalshnúkur (2110 m). We take a cruise on the Glacier lagoon of Jokulsarlon (Jökulsárlón) admire the icebergs of different sizes and watch the seals. Here were shot scenes of the James Bond films "View to a kill" and "Die another day". Return to hotel. Dinner. Overnight in Vík.


5 day. Golden circle (~310 km)
The Golden circle is a visiting card of Iceland. We will visit the national Park Thingvellir (Þingvellir), where you can see firsthand the giant fault on the border of two tectonic plates - North American and Eurasian and here since 930 sat the world's oldest Viking Parliament; the famous Golden waterfall (Gullfoss); "Valley of Geysers", where the world-famous Geysir, which gave the name to all the gushing springs on the planet. Return to Reykjavik, accommodation in hotel.






6 day. Reykjavik
In the morning 3 hour sightseeing tour of Reykjavik. You will get acquainted with the life and sights of the city, its past and present. You will visit the old city center where the Parliament, the old Church, the old port and the Cathedral Hallgrimskirkja (Hallgrímskirkja); the house Höfði, where there was a landmark meeting between Gorbachev and Reagan in 1986; an unusual building in the form of a huge flower - Perlan, from the viewing platforms, which offer magnificent views of the whole neighborhood; the Residence of the Icelandic President, the Bessastadir (Bessastaðir). Night in Reykjavik.

In the second half of the day free time in Reykjavik.

The descent into the crater of the volcano (40 minutes inside the volcano, the total duration 5-6 hours)– 325 EUR/person, incl. shuttle

7 day. Departure
Transfer to Keflavík international airport, KEF, departure homewards.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU:

Thermal underwear, T-shirts, fleece or wool jacket, warm waterproof jacket with a hood, waterproof trousers, hat, gloves, woolen socks.
Shoes
A pair of comfortable warm and waterproof boots or sneakers (better for trekking).
Documentation

Camera
Do not forget photo and video equipment with sufficient memory. Iceland is a photographer's paradise.
For the lagoon
Swimsuit / swimming trunks. You will be given a towel in the reception of the Blue Lagoon.
